Poppy McGill

I have created a portfolio of contemporary product photography that reflects current industry standards and enhances consumer appeal. My work explores branding, e-commerce, and visual storytelling, with touches of graphic design to elevate outcomes. While I’ve focused mainly on beauty products - developing a clean, clinical, colourful style - I’ve also transferred these skills into other product sectors. Drawing inspiration from advertising, I’ve refined my studio process through lighting, set design, and composition. Networking with industry professionals and receiving feedback have played a key role, helping me shape a body of work that’s both creatively fulfilling and commercially focused - ready for freelance life after graduation.
