This project aims to create a series of images that capture the unique personality and individuality of each horse through portraiture. With a focus on the movement and form of the horse’s body, the work delves into the expressions and poses of each animal. I took inspiration from traditional equine portraiture and used this to convey their strength, grace, and character as well as the subtle ways they interact with their environment. In doing so, the project emphasizes the deep connection between a horse’s movement, identity, and beauty, offering viewers a fresh, more intimate perspective of these animals.
