Threaditing

The project “Threaditing” focuses on the use of thread to transform plain photographs, specifically self-portraits, into unusual and intriguing images. The idea for this project stemmed from an interest in the physical manipulation of photographs and wanting to try being in front of a camera instead of behind one. I decided to bring these two ideas together and experiment with using thread to enhance my self-portraits as well as using the thread to mask myself from the camera while still being in front of the lens.
