Macabre

“Macabre” is a collection of works that explores the horror genre. It draws inspiration from my favourite horror movies and posters, such as “Alien” and “Don’t Breathe." While taking cues from films such as “Alien” where the face-hugger latches onto a person, as well as the classic horror scenario of someone screaming while covered in blood, the main theme throughout this collection is examining the fear of the unknown, the fear of death, and what lurks in the shadows. This work was created to express my love for the horror franchise through my photography and to produce pieces that differ from my standard practice.
