Omission
Omission is centered around familiar landscapes within the north of england. Utilizing cumbersome cameras within local environments day and night to explore themes of being lost. The landscape serves as an opportunity to connect with the self. The process of image making acts as a way to quiet the mind in an attempt to find peace, though not always successful. The landscape bears witness by offering itself and in exchange a dance of peace is returned. The result is a sequence of Black and White images, serving as my first attempt to position myself within the wider British Landscape.
